It started with a dog who refused almost everything.

Dov is a German Shepherd with strong opinions. He turned his nose up at almost every store-bought and Amazon treat we brought home. Bags would sit unopened, go stale, and eventually end up in the trash.

So I started making my own. Batch after batch, I experimented until I found recipes he'd actually get excited about—all with clean, simple ingredients I'd feel good about giving him. A few became clear favorites.

It turns out Dov isn't the only picky dog out there. BareNomz was created for dogs just like him—and for the people tired of buying treats that never get eaten.
